Robert Reader’s art may be impressive, but how did his art journey begin? Robert’s love for art has been consistent; from a young age, he had a keen interest in anything design-related. Robert was inspired by (and fascinated with) cartoons, graphic design, advertising, applied arts, and even (jazz) album artwork from the 1950s and ‘60s. All of these influences had a profound effect on the bright illustrations he produces today.

Like the nature artist, Ally Gore – his partner and work colleague, Robert Reader is a Cornwall-based artist. This isn’t his only trick of the trade, as he’s a talented photographer too. His adoration for every aspect of art and the joy it brings people is reflected in his work, and easily adds character to your surroundings.
