Kate Mainard

Kate is a Leicestershire based illustrator and designer. Her work is fun, bright and usually character based, featuring animals and people. 

Kate’s work is mostly mixed media, combining hand drawn and painted elements with digital editing. She also favours hand drawn lettering over using typefaces.  

After graduating from De Montfort University with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, Kate has had various design roles in the Greeting Card industry 

She is currently an in-house designer at The Art File, where she has created card designs and ranges that can be found in Paperchase, John Lewis and independent stores.

Kate is also an in-house designer for Tall Boy Prints. Her work is part of the Tall Boy Prints collection, which features art from all of our in-house designers.
