Lucie Cox is an illustrator and designer based in Leicestershire. Inspired by nature, antiquities, and the arts and crafts movement, Lucie’s illustration style is traditional with a contemporary finish.
With a nod to classical drawing methods, Lucie principally creates her detailed illustrations using a mechanical pencil, adding colour using watercolour and gouache and then editing digitally.
Lucie trained as an Illustrator at Birmingham City University, gaining a First Class Honours degree in 2013. Since graduating, she has worked in various design roles based in the greeting card industry, creating designs which can be found in many independent and major retailers within the UK, as well as stores worldwide.
Lucie now works as an in-house lead designer for Tall Boy Prints and The Art File. Her work is part of the Tall Boy Prints collection, which features art from all of our in-house designers.
